Background Removal - Walkthrough
Background removal is as easy as it sounds. Simply drag and drop an image that has a foreground and a background, such as a person standing in front of a cornfield. The higher the contrast between the two parts, the better.
Using Background Removal in Cogniwerk.ai
- Select Background Removal.
- Choose the removal type:
- General: The tool selects what it thinks is the foreground from the background. This is usually quite accurate.
- Humans: If your image has a person that you want to separate, choose this type.
- Anime: For anime-style pictures, select this type.
When you are finished, hit the big dark “remove” button at the bottom right. A few seconds later, you will have a downloadable PNG with a transparent background that you can use in any other creative program.
